Project Voice

I have long since dedicated this Blog to Spoken Word poetry, it was slightly inspired by Sarah Kay and her poem "If I should Have a Daughter" and the fact that I needed a topic for my English project. Yet, I still find myself stumbling through YouTube and scouring the internet for Spoken Word poets and posting their clips on my page, and for you followers out there (whomever you may be) I found something that might further spark your interest in Spoken Word poetry. Sarah Kay and her accomplice, Phil Kaye, have started their own site called Project Voice-- here they discuss their mission to bring Spoken Word poetry to different universities across the country. I hope you take the time to look through their site and listen to some of their poems.
